Deaf students are an excellent source of information about which accommodations are the best fit for them. This checklist provides a guide for disability service professionals during the first meeting and beyond, to determine eligibility, discuss options, and to continue to fine-tune a plan so that the student’s access needs are met. These questions and topics can help provide some context and ideas for disability service professionals who may be working with deaf students for the first time.
